See you in November
Ron Peters is unsure of what party he is in.

As expected, Ron Peters has decided to collect his write-in votes from the Democratic primary to run in November. Only he is not a Democrat, or maybe he is? After being fired from the Coroner’s Office, he ran as a Republican in 2021 for Coroner and lost. Later, when he visited the Coroner’s office and said to me that he would run again against John Fielding, I kicked him out of the office to avoid his disruptions. This is a personal vendetta for him; not any real desire to help Hamburg. After John Fielding told him he would not hire him in 2025, he then decided to run for Mayor.
He ran his campaign badly, nearly violating campaign finance laws by scheduling an illegal fundraiser, then had to cancel it. This may seem like no big deal, but others have been referred to the District Attorney’s Office for similar offenses. https://www.readingeagle.com/2025/05/30/berks-officials-turn-over-alleged-election-violations-for-investigation/
So a man with no ideas, no experience and no understanding of the role wants to run now as a Democrat for mayor, for no other reason than some petty vendetta. If you don’t believe me, listen to the last Democratic coroner in Berks County-
